How Could One Start

1) Learn from your competitors (successful). Copy how they design their website, what stuff to feature, who they partner with, the functions that they are using. You could go to a website like http://sitebuilding.topsiteblog.com/ for help in building a website.

2) Utilize a system. Join affiliatebot.com, sign-up for an online marketing service, or buy a relateable book with a full set of systems to get you started. This is so that you don't have to figure everything out and at least provide you with a platform to learn faster by letting the 'creator' of the system explain what each step in the system is for.

3) Or stick with something simple and basic but provides results (however small) and then slow build on it. Maybe you sign-up as an affiliate and start promoting one or two programs. You get results, like $20 a month in commissions. Then in the next month, make 10 upgrades to your efforts (post more, write more targeted content, increase the number of people you email to, improve site design slightly, etc). Try to reinvest your small 'profits' into the business to generate higher per month profits the following month. Keep snowballing until you get to what you want. Learn from mistakes and when certain things doesn't work for you.
